Gran Toros / Sputafuoco Ferrari 512s
The Gran Toros Ferrari 512s model is a replica of the 1969 Ferrari Pininfarina 512S Berlinetta Speciale concept car. Pininfarina created the 512S Berlinetta Speciale using a Ferrari 512S race car chassis and a Ferrari 5-Litre (4994 cc) 60° V12-cylinder DOHC engine. The concept car became famous at the October 1969 Turin Salon. The model was created for the Gran Toros series as model #6621. It also was released in kit Part Number 6640 (the model inside the kit is #6621). After the original Gran Toros were discontinued this model was converted for the "Mebetoys" series and released as Mebetoys model # A-100.
