Mebetoys Model #A-19, Mercedes Benz 250 Coupe

This is one of the first models in the Mebetoys series and appeared in 1966. It first appeard in the 1966 catalog sheet included with the model and the 1967 Mebetoys catalog, and continued to appear in Mebetoys catalogs until 1976. After the Hot Wheels Gran Toros (Series Sputafuoco) were discontinued and Mattel S.p.A. (Mebetoys) began to package this Mebetoys series models under the Gran Toros name. This model was packaged as a Series Europa, Series Gran Toros, and Series Mebetoys model.
