Mebetoys Model #A-21, Fiat 1500 Vigili Del Fuoco

This is one of the first models in the Mebetoys series and appeared in 1966. It first appeard in the 1966 catalog sheet included with the model and the 1967 Mebetoys catalog, and continued to appear in Mebetoys catalogs until 1975. This model used the Fiat 1500, Mebetoys Model #A-2 as the "base model" for the Fiat 1500 Vigili Del Fuoco, Mebetoys Model #A-21 (first generations). Although a very popular model in Europe it was never issued as a Hot Wheels Gran Toros series model nor packaged under the Gran Toros name.
