This Mebetoys series model appeared in 1973. It first appeard in the 1973 Mebetoys catalog.This model most demonstrates the confusion caused by the packaging after the Hot Wheels Gran Toros (Series Sputafuoco) were discontinued and Mattel S.p.A. (Mebetoys) began to package Mebetoys series models under the Gran Toros name. This model was packaged as a Series Europa, Series Gran Toros, and Series Mebetoys model.
