This page shows the 1972 Japanese Gran Toros catalog. 1972 was when Mattel S.p.A. began to discontinue the Hot Wheels Gran Toros line (Series Sputafuoco) and split the Mebetoys line into Series Mebetoys, Series Gran Super, Series Europa, and Series Gran Toros (non-Hot Wheels Gran Toros, also known as Sputafuoco. The catalog shows a mix of Sputafuoco Hot Wheels Gran Toros models and the post Sputafuoco models packaged under the Gran Toros name for the European market. |
